This course is designed to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people. It is aimed at staff working in the care sector. Staff undertaking this course will be in a better position to apply the company Safeguarding, protection policy, and the procedures.

  • Understanding what makes an adult vulnerable and open to abuse
  • Different types of abuse
  • Recognising the signs of abuse
  • Symptoms relating to abuse
  • Dealing effectively with abuse
  • Legislation
  • Reporting and record keeping

 

 Course Assessment and certification

Delegates will be expected to engage in group discussions and practical exercises.
A certificate of attendance will be issued upon completion
