This course is to inform the learner of current legislation relating to Fire Safety and how this applies to their organization To have a basic understanding as to what to do in the case of a fire outbreak in their working environment.

 

Course Content

  • Able to explain current legislation relating to Fire Safety
  • Able to demonstrate an understanding of the Fire Policy and Procedure pertaining to their organization.
  • Able to recognize potential fire risks in their care setting and be able to take appropriate steps to reduce these risks.
  • Knowledgeable of the action required in the event of an emergency evacuation necessary in the outbreak of a fire.

 

Assessment and Certification

A certificate of attendance will be issued to delegates attending.
