Courses We Provide

  • Basic Life Support (With Defibrillator Awareness)

    This course has been designed for all staff who work in areas where patients/service users are seen and should include ancillary staff and volunteers. Therefore everyone working in the care profession needs to have an awareness of the principles of Cardio Pulmonary Resuscitation(CPR), The recovery position and to have knowledge of a defibrillator use and its purpose.

  • Care Certificate

    The Care Certificate is to be undertaken following acceptance of a new employee to the industry and should be carried out prior to the commencement of an actual starting date. However, a new employee could commence work as an observer or a ‘third pair of hands’ until a standard had been achieved at which time can work at the job employed for.

  • Care Communication Skills

    This course is aimed at staff working in a variety of care settings and ensures that they come away with a good awareness of the principles of correct communication and record keeping within the care setting in which they are employed.

  • Dementia Awareness

    This is an introductory level course aimed at those who come into contact on a regular basis with adults who are living with dementia. and for those who require knowing the basics of good dementia care.

  • Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding

    Deprivation of Liberty Safeguarding (DoLS) is a section under the Mental Capacity Act (MCA) and it is recommended that these courses are either run together to fulfill a full day or that the delegate participates in both as separate courses.

  • End of Life

    This course is for all staff already involved in End of Life (palliative) care and for those who may be likely to care for those approaching the end of their life. Delegates will gain an understanding of attitudes and of the fears relating to the end of life, and of the responsibilities of their role as a carer.

  • Fire Awareness

    This course is to inform the learner of current legislation relating to Fire Safety and how this applies to their organization To have a basic understanding as to what to do in the case of a fire outbreak in their working environment.

  • Fire Warden/Marshall

    This course has been designed to ensure you are trained to the standards of the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 together with Fire Precautions (Workplace) Regulations 1997 (Amended 1999) and the Health & Safety at Work Act 1974.

  • Medication Awareness

    This course is to give carers an awareness as to their accountability when administering medication as well as to their responsibility when the client/service user is self –administering.

  • Mental Capacity Act

    The course is designed to introduce delegates to the key messages of the Mental Capacity Act 2005. Exploration of mental capacity and the process that occurs when a person lacks capacity.

  • Moving & Handling

    This Manual Handling Training Course provides the necessary information and training for delegates to understand more about the risks associated with manual handling, how to undergo a risk assessment and how to ensure appropriate control measures are put in place.

  • Safeguarding of Vulnerable People Awareness

    This course is designed to raise awareness of the importance of safeguarding vulnerable people. It is aimed at staff working in the care sector. Staff undertaking this course will be in a better position to apply the company Safeguarding, protection policy, and the procedures.

  • Safer People Handling

    This course is often run in conjunction with our Moving and Handling course and we ask that delegates have attended this or an equivalent as a pre-requisite to attendance
